Cookie Policy

Two entries, both strictly functional. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels — this page lists everything.

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. What these things are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage is a similar browser feature, except the data stays in your browser and is not transmitted with each request. Sweet Candy uses one of each, described below.

2. Everything we set

sc_session

Cookie — strictly necessary

Keeps you signed in. Holds your account ID and an expiry stamp, cryptographically signed so it cannot be altered or forged. HttpOnly and Secure.

Lifetime: 30 days, or until you log out

sc_age_ok

Local storage — strictly necessary

Records that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so the age check isn't shown on every page you open.

Lifetime: Until you clear your browser storage

3. Why we ask for no consent banner

Both entries above are strictly necessary for functions you have asked for: staying logged in and passing the age check. Under EU cookie rules, strictly necessary storage of this kind does not require prior consent, which is why you are not greeted by a consent pop-up. If we ever wanted to add analytics or advertising, we would have to ask you first — and we would.

4. Cookies set by game providers

Games run inside a frame on our game pages and are loaded directly from the studio that made them. Those providers may set their own cookies or storage in your browser to run the demo — for instance to remember sound settings or a temporary demo balance. We have no access to them and no control over them, and they are covered by the relevant provider's own cookie and privacy policies rather than ours. We send providers no account information at all.

5. Turning them off

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under settings named "Privacy", "Cookies" or "Site data". You are free to block ours. Be aware of the consequences: block or delete sc_session and you will be logged out and unable to sign back in; block sc_age_ok and the age confirmation will reappear on every visit. Browsing and playing as a guest will still work.

Clearing your browser data also removes these entries. Your account itself is unaffected — just log in again to pick up your coin balance.
